The dental team at Natick Dental Health is eagerly awaiting the arrival of fall. Not only does it mean a break from the heat of summer, but also the arrival of changing leaves and the Natick 2022 Fall Classic Tournament. Here are three (and a half) things you might catch our dental team doing this fall.
2022 Fall Classic Tournament- For all the soccer lovers out there fall is a very exciting time in Natick. The change in weather means it’s cool enough to really enjoy a game of soccer without worrying about heat exhaustion. It also means that the Fall Classic Tournament is coming to Natick. You can catch a game between October 7-10.
Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary- One of Mass Audubon’s best sanctuaries is located right here in Natick. Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary is worth multiple visits as it has over 6 miles of trails to enjoy. That’s 6 miles of gorgeous fall foliage and well-kept trails.
Franklin Sculpture Park and State Forest- Just outside the MetroWest area you can find the Franklin Sculpture Park. Take a stroll through an eclectic collection of outdoor sculptures while enjoying the crisp fall air. If that’s not enough to motivate you to get over to Franklin, you can also make your way to Franklin State Forest to take in some foliage.
Holliston Moon Tree- As you make your way down to Franklin make sure to stop at the Holliston Police Station to admire the foliage of Holliston’s moon tree. The moon tree is not a description of the species (it’s actually a sycamore) but rather a description of the fact that the seed the tree was grown from had actually orbited around the moon as part of NASA’s moon trees program. While few but the most dedicated space enthusiasts would be willing to make the journey just to see the tree, it’s worth the stop if you’re passing though Holliston on the way to Franklin.
