If there’s any specialized situation she can’t handle she will still be in charge of overseeing and directing the treatment, looking out for the best possible outcome for her patients.
The Prosthodontist – Dr. Kang is the prosthodontist at Natick Dental Health. As a prosthodontist, he has a similar role as the general dentist, identifying dental issues that need to be addressed for patients coming in from Natick, Framingham, and other nearby towns. But his specialized training as a prosthodontist means that he has additional years of schooling and can advise and treat in cases that are more complex and involve the replacement of multiple teeth.
The Periodontist – Last but not least, we have Dr. Litwin, the periodontist at Natick Dental Health. As a periodontist, Dr. Litwin has specialized knowledge of the gums and dental treatments that are associated with them. This means that if The prosthodontist or general dentist are noticing signs of gum disease or want a dental implant placed they may refer the patient to the periodontist. But since all three doctors are under one roof the transition is easy for the patient and communication between the doctors is seamless.
